Gold Tones Jazz OrchestraThe Gold Tones Jazz Orchestra is the premier Jazz performance ensemble at Cuyahoga Falls High School. It uses a standard 17- to 20-piece big band instrumentation, and members are chosen by audition in the spring. The Gold Tones were chosen to perform at the OMEA Professional Development Conference in 2015 and 2007, and its members have been selected to perform in the All-State Jazz Ensemble multiple times. Past members of the Gold Tones have gone on to become professional performing musicians and music educators.
