About UsThe Cuyahoga Falls City School District is a public school system located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The district educates about 5,300 students from the communities of Cuyahoga Falls and Silver Lake from kindergarten through grade twelve. Cuyahoga Falls High School (CFHS) is the only high school in the district and has a current enrollment of approximately 1700 students in grades 9-12. The high school is also part of the Six District Educational Compact, a joint program of six area school districts (Cuyahoga Falls, Kent, Stow-Munroe Falls, Tallmadge, Hudson and Woodridge) to share access to each of their vocational training facilities and career resources.

The Cuyahoga Falls Instrumental Music Program is one of the most visible and supported programs in the Cuyahoga Falls school district. The high school band program is one of the finest in northeast Ohio and actively performs in the community and region.

Our History |
5The instrumental music program at Cuyahoga Falls High School traditionally serves approximately 250 students each year. Students are enrolled in one of four ability based concert bands and perform several concerts each year. The ensembles all participate in Ohio Music Education Association adjudicated events and consistently earn Excellent and Superior ratings.
In addition to the curricular ensembles, the department supports an active chamber music program including numerous percussion ensembles, two jazz ensembles, marching band, pep band and pit orchestra. |
